The release of the Maxi Cosi Pria LX was a sellout. It had a lot of features and new features that customers wanted. The most notable feature is the Australian-designed and engineered SMART Guide® top tether routing system and SMART Lock® installation system, making travel safer.


The Pria is now available with G-CELL which improves head and torso protection. The Maxi Cosi Pria LX G-Cell also has plush and quilted newborn insert. That's it - these are the only 2 difference between the Pria LX and the Pria LX G-Cell model.

The SmartGuide is the main feature of this Pria LX G-Cell. The Smartguide can only be done on one side as per the user guide.


The SmartLock is under the seat fabric. You will need to remove the insert and the seat fabric to access the SmartLock to fit this car seat. The SmartLock is easy to use but care should be taken to ensure the seat belt path is routed correctly.
